Public holidays!!!

It's going to be a public holiday on tues and wednesday hehe so will definitely BUM around lol

Don't know what to yet....will figure it out.

It's been a week since I blogged. Nothing much happening last week except meeting and meeting profiles or potiential profiles.

Went and visited a profound disabled girl, Lee Foong who is aged 22 years old. She is currently doing pet therapy. Her pet is fish =) She is not able to take a dog as she is unable to care for them. She can't walk, bathe or feed them. She is suffering from spastic cerebral palsy. Poor girl fell when she was less than year old from the sarung while she was sleeping. Didn't cry or anything. Then she became like that. Suffered from head injuries.

Apparently pet therapy works for her in this case...her fishes hehe she will make sounds and laugh and smile whenever we talk about fishes and aquariums. Her gurgles makes me feel soo happy. When her stepmom/caretaker asked her if she loves fish and said yes...she went...aaaaaa and we were smiling =) Just to hear her laugh is enough.

We will be featuring her in our OH! show in episode 2. Hope you all can catch a glimpse at her and bear in mind of people in her case. They have no friends as we(normal) ones will NOT want to make friends with them. The profound disabled people are the ones that are left behind in the disabled group. My heart felt for her. 22 years only and she still has so many years to go ahead of her....she will never get the chance to enjoy life just like we do...

Often we hear ppl complaining about their life and problems, I think these people should think back and think of those who are disabled. We should be thankful with all the good/bad things happening to us. We still can walk, eat and see the world. Unlike Lee Foong, her routine is just the same. She can't go anywhere without her caretaker. She only has her caretaker to love her and the fishes to mingle with.

What I think I want to say is....be thankful that we can still use our limbs, eyes, ears and legs. This is the first time I ever come across as in being so close to someone like Lee Foong. Makes me appreciate everything around me even if it's not on a good days. =)

I can't believe that I am bored on a saturday night!!!

Dramatic DAY

It’s MONDAY and I had the MOST dramatic day for the starting of the week.

I had a fall yesterday while roller blading and I tore a ligament on my right foot. So I had to ankle my right foot to work today 

I was still able to walk around properly to day and even up and down the stairs in the office.

Then later after lunch, had to go to my aunt’s place to collect the kitty which Angie would want to use as a ‘prop’. Just for one scene only…anyways the cat escaped when we open the cage! When to the back of the bungalow and like so uncertain where she is. I guess we both frightened her then she jumped on the fence and went to the neighbour!

Angie had to drive so I followed. Called and called and the cat can just give a miserable meow everytime her name was called. So silly!!! Shouldn’t she just come if her name is called? Cats aren’t as smart as dog anyways =p

So we had to climb to over the fence to get into a house where the owner is not around! Mind you I DID CLIMB the fence despite my injured ankle! I managed hahaha

So, try coaxing the cat for almost like 1 ½ hours….siaw huh then she came out. Make a dash to the wall which I managed to catch her. Was going to bring her to the fence so we can get out, then the neighbours dog started barking like mad! And the cat went bersek and BIT me!!! YES I WAS CAT BITTEN AHAHAH

At the same time, I was telling the cat…It’s okie…well Meera said I’m talking to a cat, NOT HUMAN. SO probably she didn’t understand me. Well…I suffered from few bites…multiple bites which Meera said that looks like vampire bite…

Of course I had to go visit the doctor, get my wound cleaned and a shot! After all the drama, I couldn’t walk normally now. I am limping…..so I AM ON MC TOMORROW AND WED hahaha

Poor ankle which is quite swollen now =(

Morale of the story….cats are idiot…can’t even recognize owner…

Dream Job

My dream job is to be able to be a dolphin/whale trainer hehehe

Planning

I want a HOLIDAY!!!!

Currently right now, I want to make it that I can go visit Korea this year. Sounds ambitiuos but I think I have to make it a point. My lady, you know who you are is there. She just left for Korea recently and I am already missing her. She's one of my coursemate back in uni days and we were both in the IR department =) the one and only I was really close whom I can share my troubles and joy with her!

She was the one who accompanied me to get a nose piercing hehe but it didn't work out coz the hole closed later then we were suppose to shave our heads together but I didn't get to do it as I know it will freak my mum out!!! She'd kill me for that. I'd always borrow her clothes!!! She has super nice punjabi suits that I love haha so I'd borrow from her once in a while ;)

Now that she is in Korea, I am so going to miss her and yes I am going to go there =)

Don't know when yet as it's still in the early stage of planning. She just arrived and is not settled yet. Guess Korea this year is not too bad don't you think??

I'm feeling hungry

1. monday night - pasar malam

2. tues night - no idea yet

3. wed night - movie night

4. thurs night - going for a whole body massage/spa with Naz then later to Murni's with Irene and Karen

5. fri night - Paddington Pancake with everyone

6. Sat night - sat night fever at home?

7. Sun night - preparing for monday (sigh)

April Fool's

1st of April – It’s April’s Fool Day!! Didn’t get to trick anyone but the weather tricked me! HAH!

Went out for dim sum with sis, Hua Chin and also Joo. I wanted to go and take the car first well it was about 7.30am then but my sis said it’s too dark and better go after breakfast. All right I thought =)

SO both of us went out to meet Hua Chin and Joo at SS2. While eating and talking, we notice the change of weather… it became quite dark!!! OH NO!!! RAIN RAIN BUT NO UMBRELLA!!

I thought that probably will rain when we get back but while walking towards the morning market, it started to rain! Jeeezzzz with only one umbrella! Why didn’t I think of taking an umbrella this morning?? No idea haha

So we waited in front of the shop houses walking up and down, going in bakeries hahaha It was about 9am. So we waited till 10am then the rain subsided a bit. Michelle suggested to cross over to the other side of the shop houses. She said that makes us feel ‘closer’ to home compare to where we were standing right now. Hua chin and I said yea not bad idea hahaha okie so three of us ran in the rain. When we got over, it rained slightly heavier haha I’m like oh man!

AND GUESS WHO I MET?? Liang was in his car!! Haha And he was reversing his car to go and guess what? The silly me was waving at him and he was laughing in the car. It never occur to my mind to made me stop him and ask for lift. Till he disapper then I said hey why not ask him to bring us back hahaha Hua Chin and Michelle said why not? So I called. And what a sweeeeeeeeet guy (angel for the day, Michelle said) said OK!! So he took us home!!!!

I really can’t believe my luck to be able to bump into him!!! Do you know what time did the rain stopped? At 12pm!!! Imagine three of us standing there till that time if it wasn’t for Liang to send us home?? We’ll be shriveled there as an apple! I was shivering after we cross the road in the rain…shivering like first time in my life!!!!
